Your season.
Step by step.
From your first sign-in to the final game. Choose your role, find a feature, and follow the instructions with a screenshot at every step.
How do you use The Squad?
Your role controls what you can manage. Your team’s plan and enabled modules control which features appear.
Read each walkthrough in order. “Before you start” tells you what you need, and “You’re done when” explains how to check the result. Tap any screenshot to enlarge it. Screens show sample accounts; names and dates will differ from your team.
Missing a button? Check the selected squad, your team role, your plan and Settings → Module Visibility. Parents and athletes should ask their coach to enable a team feature. A paid plan does not grant staff permissions.

Create your account
Choose the right account, verify your email and reach your workspace.
Before you start Have access to your email inbox. If joining an existing team, ask for its current squad code or registration link.
Open Join Now, then select Adult Athlete (18+), Parent / Guardian, Coach / Team Manager, School / Athletic Director, or League / Tournament Organizer. Select Continue. Choose the role that describes your own responsibilities.
You’re done when the next screen matches your selected role.
Account creation starts with the role choices. Parents and adult athletes can enter a squad code or choose to join later. Team, school and competition managers choose from the plans shown for their role. Review the included features and billing interval before continuing.
Good to know Starter, Pro, Elite and School are plans; they are not team permission levels.
You’re done when your selected role and plan are shown before you create the account.

Read the account notice and select Create Account or Create Account & Verify Email. Correct any highlighted fields instead of submitting repeatedly.
You’re done when the app asks you to verify your email.
Full name, email and both password fields on the account form. Open the verification message in your inbox and follow its link. Return to the verification screen and use its check/continue control. If the email does not arrive, check spam and use the resend control after its waiting period.
You’re done when verification is accepted and the app lets you continue.
The email verification screen and its resend and continuation controls. Complete any requested profile details. If you selected a paid plan, review the checkout terms and finish checkout only if you want that subscription. Parents start in Family Overview; other members use their dashboard or management hub. An empty account still needs a squad or athlete connection.
Good to know If checkout was canceled, inspect Manage Your Plan before trying again; do not assume the upgrade succeeded.
You’re done when you can identify your role and the team or family you will manage.
A sample coach dashboard after setup.
Sign in, recover access and navigate
Get back into the correct account and choose the squad you want to work with.
Before you start Use the same sign-in method and email address you used when creating the account.
Open Log In, enter Email Address and Password, and select Sign In. For a provider account, use its available provider button. Follow any verification prompt before continuing.
Good to know Creating a second account will not automatically bring over teams from the first one.
You’re done when your dashboard, family view or authorized hub opens.

Before you start Choose the name, team type, your staff role and the plan/available squad slot you intend to use.
Open Create Squad from your workspace or use Open feature above. Enter Squad Name, choose the Team Protocol and select Your Role. Add a short Biography so members recognize the team.
You’re done when the name, team type and your role are correct in the form.
The squad creation form, including team protocol and staff role. If the team needs its own registration terms, fill in the optional protocol title and legal text. Review any tier selection or available allocation shown below the form. Read the actual terms you will ask members to accept.
You’re done when the registration terms and team tier match your intended setup.

Join an existing squad
Connect yourself or a child to the right team without creating a duplicate account.
Before you start Get the current code or registration link from the team. Parents should add their child in Family Overview first.
Open Join & Invite. In Enrolling As, select your own athlete profile or the child you are registering. Check the name carefully when your family has more than one athlete.
You’re done when the intended athlete is selected.
Join & Invite separates athlete selection from team, league and tournament codes. Enter the exact Squad Code and select Review Team. Read the team name and details before continuing. If the code is invalid, ask the coach for a fresh copy.
You’re done when the review screen identifies the expected squad.
Review the team before confirming membership. Read any membership confirmation or registration requirements and confirm the join. Wait for the success result. Do not register the same athlete twice if the first attempt is still processing.
You’re done when the team appears in your selector or the child’s teams.
The join confirmation identifies the team and enrollment action. Open the joined squad, inspect the schedule, and review pending waivers and fees. Ask the coach to fix an incorrect role or missing guardian connection. Joining alone does not mean every registration requirement is complete.
You’re done when you can see the correct team and know what remains to be completed.

You’re done when the profile shows the corrected values when reopened.
Player profile details and staff controls. Use the role/position edit control to open Provision Role. Select the intended position or specify the custom title when offered, then save. Ask the person to reopen the workspace and verify the tools they actually receive.
Good to know A custom job title is not a guarantee of platform-wide or organization-wide administrative access.
You’re done when the roster displays the intended position and the member has appropriate access.
Provision Role edits a squad member’s position. Select Export Emails and choose the relevant recipients/options in the export dialog. Download or copy the resulting contact list. Check that it contains the intended team and audience before using it.
You’re done when the exported list matches your selection.
The email export dialog allows staff to choose the contact audience. Open the member’s profile and its removal control. Read Personnel Decommission, enter the required archive reason, and confirm only for the intended member. Review the roster’s archived/removed view when you need that history or reinstatement.

You’re done when your chosen calendar or companion shows the expected activities.
The schedule companion provides its own schedule and task controls.
Record actual attendance
Review responses, then record who attended the event.
Before you start Create the event and confirm the active squad and date.

Module Visibility switches apply to the currently selected squad. Use Sign Out in Global Settings. Confirm that the app returns to its signed-out state. The next person should sign in with their own account so the correct memberships and permissions load.
You’re done when your account is no longer open on that device.
Global Settings provides the Sign Out action.
Finish a season and manage account closure
Preserve the records you need before retiring access or deleting data.
Before you start Review what must be retained and distinguish your account from a team or competition.
Staff review final results, attendance, payments, equipment returns and outstanding waivers. Members resolve their own outstanding tasks with the team. Verify the final state before starting a fresh season.
You’re done when the season’s records and outstanding responsibilities are understood.
Use the team’s tools to review the final season state. Use the relevant roster, attendance, standings, finance or document export control. Open each downloaded file to verify its team, dates and contents before changing or removing records.
You’re done when the required exports are readable and belong to the correct season.
Use feature-specific export controls before removing records. Season Reset is currently a demo-workspace tool. In an eligible staff demo, open Initialize Season Reset in Settings and inspect each data category. Select only the categories you intend to clear, then read the final confirmation. Cancel if the scope is uncertain.
Good to know A reset can remove records. It is not a substitute for creating a separate new-season team or competition.
You’re done when only the intended reset is applied, or you have canceled without changing data.
Demo-only season reset asks which sample data to clear. Open the account menu in the app header and select Delete Account. Read the listed consequences and timing, complete the required identity confirmation, and submit only when you intend to close that account. Resolve any team-ownership requirements shown first.
You’re done when the app confirms the deletion request and its status.
The account deletion confirmation explains the requested account action. Keep the deletion confirmation and follow the timing or recovery instructions displayed by the app. If you only wanted to leave a team, use the team membership process instead of deleting your whole account.
You’re done when you understand whether the account is active, pending deletion or removed.
Review the confirmation carefully before closing the account.
Operate the platform administration workspace
For platform operators: inspect the correct account and use the dedicated management area.
Before you start Use the authorized administrator account and identify the exact account or item you need to manage.
Sign in with the authorized administrator account and open Admin. Confirm the management workspace loads. Team or school administration does not automatically grant platform administration.
You’re done when the platform administration tabs are available.
The platform administration workspace for authorized operators. Use the account search and open the exact matching user. Review email, role, plan and related teams before taking action. Confirm that similarly named users are not confused.
You’re done when the selected user and their related teams are correct.
Account inspection includes identity, plan and associated teams. Use the account’s plan/entitlement controls and read the change scope before applying it. For catalog-level work, open the dedicated Plans administration page and inspect the current feature/limit settings. Verify the saved result.
You’re done when the account or plan catalog reflects the intended change.
Plan administration controls platform plan configuration. Open Users and inspect the intended record. Use the dedicated suspend, restore or deletion controls only after reading their confirmation and checking the account identity. Reopen the record to confirm its status.
You’re done when the correct account has the intended status.
The Users area exposes account management to authorized operators. Open Beta Applications, inspect the applicant and selected plan, and review any existing-account confirmation before provisioning or changing access. Verify the resulting application/account state.
You’re done when the application has the intended reviewed status.
Beta application management is separate from ordinary user signup. Open Bug Reports, read the affected feature and report details, and update the available tracking/status controls as the issue is handled. Reproduce the issue in an appropriate sample workspace before changing customer data.
You’re done when the report reflects its actual investigation state.
Bug Reports lists reported product issues. Open Sports Hub in administration. Select the appropriate content type, inspect the item and use its edit/publish controls. Open the public destination after saving to verify the actual reader view.
You’re done when the public content reflects the intended saved change.
Sports Hub administration manages published resources and content. Open Embeds, select the widget and configure its destination/options. Preview it, then copy the generated embed code for the intended site. Check the embedded result on the destination page.
You’re done when the embed opens the correct public content or form.
Embed administration provides widget configuration and preview.
